The Ghanaian international only joined Swansea in the summer from Marseille on a free transfer and he has adapted to English football superbly. The striker has 7 goals in 20 games for the Swans including a goal against Sunderland during Wednesday night’s 4-2 victory for the Black Cats.

The 26-year-old penned a four-year deal at the South Wales club in the summer but with Swansea appearing as one of the favourites for relegation, the Ghanaian could make the move to Wearside. It is not known the price the Swans would wish and whether they would even entertain an offer from a league rival for their best player, but Sam Allardyce has clearly stated his ambition with an enquiry for the forward.
