Debuchy closes in on move to Sunderland?
According to Football Insider, Mathieu Debuchy is close to leaving Arsenal in a loan deal until the end of the season.
It is believed that Sunderland and Aston Villa are in the race for the Frenchman with reported sightings in Durham over the past few days indicating the Black Cats are favourites for the Frenchman’s signature.

Debuchy has found himself down the pecking order at Arsenal since his £12-million move from Newcastle United and is now behind Hector Bellerin in the first-team fold.
Sunderland manager Sam Allardyce has been eager to add a new right-back to his squad this month despite having three on the books already. Sunderland are hoping to beat Aston Villa to the signing of the 30-year-old, with the midlands club in negotiations with the Gunners for several weeks. Debuchy would be open to a move to Sunderland despite his ex-Newcastle links as he searches for first-team football.
