Sunderland closing in on Ruddy move
Premier League side Sunderland Athletic are in talks with Norwich City over a move for goalkeeper John Ruddy, according to Sky Sports News HQ.

The tweet doesn’t give away too much, except that Sunderland are in talks regarding a move for Ruddy.
This intimates that a bid has been made, or is at least close to being made, and that Norwich are open to the idea of Ruddy moving on.
Despite Ruddy being at the club since 2010, he has fallen out of favour recently. Ruddy was dropped for a large spell last season in the Premier League after a string of sub-par performances, although did come in for the last few games of the season.
Ruddy made a nervous start to this season, and Michael McGovern came in when Ruddy injured his groin against Sheffield Wednesday.
