# Stoke Forward A Sunderland Target?

Stoke City attacker Peter Odemwingie is reportedly a transfer target for Sunderland.

The 34-year old suffered from a hell-bent injury which saw him sit on the sidelines for almost two years, but recently signed a deal with the Potters to extend his short contract with the club.

The striker moved to the Premier League in 2010, where he signed a two-year contract with West Brom after a strong few seasons in Russia. The 6-foot attacker scored over 30 goals whilst in the Midlands before moving to Welsh side Cardiff City, only to be rescued by Mark Hughes’ side.

A serious knee injury has kept Odemwingie out of action for a long period of time, and with game time looking limited at Stoke, Hughes might allow him to go on loan to get some much-needed game time.
