# Sunderland’s five January signings

* * *

With deadline day arriving tomorrow, Read Sunderland take a look over the five players that Sam Allardyce has brought to the Black Cats so far.

The Black Cats began the window in desperate need of quality signings after a dismal December left Sunderland in deep, deep relegation trouble.

It took less than a week for the Lads to bring Jan Kirchhoff to the Stadium of Light and with just over 24 hours to go we may yet see a sixth new face arrive on Wearside.
