Sunderland goalkeeper Costel Pantilimon insists Sunderland’s fortunes will improve under Dick Advocaat this season, despite the Black Cats failing to win a league game this season, according to The Express.
Pantilimon’s side have lost three of the opening five league games of the season and are currently bottom of the Premier League with just two points.
However the giant Romanian believes there is light at the end of the Stadium of Light tunnel:
We played some great football and that bodes well for the future. Against Spurs, we missed some good chances but we are improving our game, fighting hard and working like a proper team.

Sunderland, who have remarkably opened their last three Premier League seasons without a win from the opening five fixtures, face a tough trip to Bournemouth this weekend.
But Pantilimon remains upbeat following the defeat to Spurs last weekend, insisting if they keep playing the way they are, results will come their way.
It’s true we lost again and we can’t forget that but there is plenty there for us to think positively. If we play like that in the future, we will be okay.
