Saturday saw Sunderland record their first back-to-back win of the season as they defeated 10-man Stoke City at the Stadium of Light. Two goals in two minutes from Patrick Van Aanholt and Duncan Watmore were enough to clinch the three points after Ryan Shawcross had received a second booking early in the second half.
