The Black Cats were humbled once again yesterday as Manchester City eased four past Sunderland.
Raheem Sterling’s header, Toure’s long-range strike, a header from Bony and a close-range chance from De Bruyne secured the rout for the Citizens before Fabio Borini got one back for the visitors.
It could’ve been worse for the visitors had Wilfried Bony not skied a penalty.
Sunderland are now five points from safety in nineteenth place, with just 20 games to go before the end of the season.
We rank the Sunderland players.
