Sunderland take on Liverpool at the Stadium of Light tomorrow with neither team in the best of form.
The Black Cats come on the back of four consecutive defeats – the most recent of which was a 4-1 defeat to Manchester City on Boxing Day. Liverpool have only won one of their last four.
Sunderland Club Captain John O’Shea looks set to miss out on the game with a calf problem, joining fellow centre-half Younes Kaboul on the sidelines. Wes Brown is likely to take his place at the back, with Lee Cattermole returning to captain the side.
