According to sources of ESPN FC, Sunderland have agreed a deal to sign former Hull City striker Dame N’Doye from Trabzonspor on loan for the remainder of the season.
The Senegal international left the Championship in the Summer for £2.2 million and has struggled to make an impact in the Turkish league, scoring one goal in twelve appearances, thus they are willing to let the 30-year-old have a spell elsewhere on loan.
The experienced attacker had great spells with Danish side Copenhagen and Russian league giants Lokomotiv Moskow before completing a £3 million move to the KC Stadium, of where he managed 5 BPL goals in 15 appearances in his only season under Steve Bruce.
The news has appeared when Sunderland boss Sam Allardyce has identified a new attacking option for his side, and the European accomplished forward could add the much needed clinical nature to fire them to safety should he find his feet quick enough.

N’Doye boasts an overall career goalscoring tally of 144 goals in 312 appearances, alongside 6 goals in his 26 caps for Senegal.
From the mind of a Sunderland fan, even if he manages what he did for Hull, it could still help us get out of the relegation zone, this could be a decent and more risk-free move than playing Danny Graham or Steven Fletcher for the rest of the season, when it has been made clear they could be leaving the club.
The other attacking option being mentioned as of late is Sevilla loanee Ciro Immobile, who isn’t keen on returning to parent club Borussia Dortmund at the end of the season.
