According to reports today from Fichajes.net Sunderland are set to launch an audacious bid for Juventus and former Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata.
Despite a successful campaign last season where he managed 15 goals in all competitions, Morata has fell down the pecking order at Juventus and a move to England could be on the horizon this month. Sunderland have emerged as outsiders in the race for the Spanish International, with Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and high-flying Leicester City all after the signature of the striker.
