Sunderland visit the Boleyn Ground for the final time tomorrow in high spirits after two solid results against top teams. The Black Cats will be hoping they can put a spanner in the Ironworks and mine out a result against the high-flying West Ham to help ease their relegation fears.
In the reverse fixture – which was Dick Advocaat’s final game in charge at the Stadium of Light – West Ham came from 2-0 down to rescue a point after Jeremain Lens was sent off in the second half for two needless yellow cards.
