Sunderland’s first midweek match for a while sees Crystal Palace visit the Stadium of Light.
For the first time this season, the Black Cats have the opportunity to do the double over their opponents having beaten the Eagles 1-0 at Selhurst Park in the opposing match.
The Black Cats once again have the carrot on the end of the stick, knowing that a win could potentially send them two points clear of the relegation zone. Big Sam said he wants four points from the West Ham, Palace and Southampton match and following the narrow defeat at Upton Park at the weekend, this seems to be the most likely game to get three of those four.
