March is over already! Due to cup postponements and the international break, the Black Cats have played just three competitive games this month – one of which was, of course, the Tyne-Wear derby.
A lack of games, though, doesn’t mean a lack of goals. N’Doye has opened his Sunderland account, whilst Fabio Borini has gotten back on the score sheet for the Black Cats. Jermain Defoe has taken his tally for the season so far up to 14 for the season.
