The international break is over and proper football is back! Who’s delighted? We at Read Sunderland HQ are for sure!
This weekend, the Black Cats host Tony Pulis’ West Brom, but who will Sam Allardyce pick now that Emmanuel Eboue is no longer available?
Sunderland managed to stay unbeaten during March, with three draws against Newcastle, Southampton and Crystal Palace.
Big Sam will be looking to keep that unbeaten run going against a West Brom side currently sitting pretty in 11th.
The Wearsiders are 18th, two points behind relegation rivals Norwich City.
A win against a solid Albion side could see them leapfrog the Canaries and strengthen their chances of survival.
But, home form isn’t too bad for Sunderland.
In 2016, Manchester City are the only team to take three points home with them. Not bad.
The question is, however, what will the starting line-up be like at the Stadium of Light this Saturday?
We’ve predicted Allardyce’s team in a 4-5-1 formation…
