Sunderland came to yet another defeat on Sunday against league leaders Leicester City.
Jamie Vardy ended his goal drought with two fine solo efforts, making the Black Cats game against Norwich at the weekend a relegation six-pointer.
Both sides kept the same teams after positive performances in their respective last games – with Ben Foster the only thing keeping Sunderland from scoring against West Bromwich Albion.
The Black Cats remain four points from safety – above Aston Villa and Newcastle – with just six games to go. If they are to beat the drop, they cannot afford to slip up against Norwich.
A win for the Canaries would put them seven points clear provided Newcastle don’t win – which would effectively seal the relegation battle and condemn Sunderland to the second division.
Changes need to be made to the Sunderland squad ahead of the next game, as our ratings show…
