The agent of on-loan Sunderland winger, Emmanuel Giaccherini has confirmed his client could move to Fiorentina if they’re interested.
According to Football Italia, Giaccherini’s agent, Furio Valcareggi told Lady Radio that previous Fiorentina director, Daniele Pradè enquired about the Italian international but he is set to be replaced at the club.
Valcareggi confirmed he would be willing to do business, should new director Pantaleo Corvino be interested in the player.
If Fiorentina and Corvino want to call, then we’re ready to talk. They have to hurry up, though, because he is in the Nazionale and appreciated by many coaches.
Giaccherini, who failed to make a real impact whilst playing for Sunderland, has turned his career around whilst in Serie A. He has been named in Antonio Conte’s preliminary 30-man squad for Euro 2016.
Giaccherini has scored seven goals in 27 appearances whilst on loan at Bologna, which haven’t gone unnoticed. His fine performances have even lead to him being linked with bigger and better things. Conte has been linked with taking the player to Stamford Bridge with him next season.
