Sunderland take on Borussia Dortmund in their final pre season friendly later today. The game kicks off at 5:45 PM UK time and will give David Moyes a final opportunity to prepare the base of his squad for the first game of the season – as well as give some of the development squad a run out.
The Black Cats only have nine fit outfield players available for the game and all are likely to start the match.
The players will début the new away kit tonight for the first time after previously getting by with just the home and third strips – but no new signings are expected to play despite David Moyes calming two bids had been put in place in his press conference on Monday.
Following the game, new manager Moyes has eight days to prepare the squad for the start of the season – with the Black Cats visiting Manchester City a week tomorrow for their first competitive test of the 2016-17 season.
We take a look at the team that is likely to start tonight’s game against BVB.
