According to an emerging report from Sky Sports and their Sky Sources, Sunderland are the latest club to express an interest in Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Ryan Mason.
The report claims that, despite Premier League new boys Hull City agreeing a fee with Spurs over the potential transfer of Mason earlier on in the week, David Moyes has decided to join the hunt for the Englishman.
Sky Sports also claim that Mason is in discussions with Sunderland over a possible move to the Stadium of Light this week ahead of the coming season, despite his negotiations being ongoing with Hull.

The 25-year-old midfielder is not going to get all that much playing time at White Hart Lane this season given their strength in depth when it comes to the central midfield position; somewhere that Sunderland are severely lacking in talent and depth.
A move for Mason would see him come in and offer another midfield outlet to Moyes ahead of a difficult season.
