Sunderland have failed with a loan bid for Chelsea shot stopper, Asmir Begovic, as reported by the Telegraph.
Begovic is yet to feature for Chelsea this season and has been linked with moves away from the club in the search of more game time.
Everton had previously been linked with the former Stoke goalkeeper. David Moyes has been keen to strengthen his side after taking over from Sam Allardyce this summer and is believed to have his eye on the Chelsea ‘keeper.

Chelsea recently announced the signing of Portuguese international, Eduardo, as their new third-choice goalkeeper, following the departure of Marco Amelia, who’s contract expired at the end of the season.
Begovic joined from Stoke last summer and saw his fair share of playing time under Jose Mourinho and Guus Hiddink last season, with Thibaut Courtois spending time on the sidelines through injuries and suspensions respectively throughout the 2015/16 season.
