Naismith was linked to Sunderland earlier this month, and now he looks set to finally complete his switch back to the Premier League.
The Scotsman only joined Norwich in January from Everton for £8.5m, but he now looks to leave after the club’s relegation from the Premier League to the Championship.
Norwich are expected to make a loss on the £8.5m that they paid to Everton on the deal, but I reiterate that no fee has been mentioned at this point so that is just speculation at this time.
David Moyes knows Naismith well, having signed him from Rangers whilst he was the manager at Everton.
