Sunderland travel to Stoke City on Saturday 15th of October without a win this season and sitting bottom of the Premier League. Stoke City themselves haven’t been much better sitting just one point above Sunderland.
With both teams struggling and both managers under pressure a win for either team could signal the end of one managers reign. With it being so early in the season its rare to hear talk of a six pointer match already but make no mistake about it this well and truly is a winner takes all match.
With that being said Sunderland may look to a change in formation for a change in fortune. This week David Moyes opened up his training session to the public and to the press. We seen Sunderland working with Anichebe and Defoe both upfront which could be an indication of a change to a 3-5-2 formation and not the 4-4-2 fans may be hoping for.
