- Aston Villa v Sunderland
- Villa Park
- 14:00 BST
Sunderland are looking to continue their winning form this afternoon and Regis Le Bris has named the team he hopes will get the job done.
Aston Villa were going through a rough patch not so long ago, but recently they have recorded a number of victories.
However, many of these have been in Europe. The last time the Villains played in the Premier League, they were actually held to a 1-1 draw by Nottingham Forest.
Whereas Sunderland have won two consecutive matches in the Premier League, dishing out defeats to Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur respectively.
Therefore, while today’s fixture is going to be challenging, there is a reason for the visitors to fancy their chances.
Regis Le Bris names unchanged starting XI
Sunderland’s manager has not made any changes to his starting line-up after their win against Spurs a week ago.
Nordi Mukiele starts at right-back following his match winning strike at the Stadium of Light, while Robin Roefs will be looking to deliver another solid display between the posts.
Granit Xhaka captains the side as usual, and Brian Brobbey is leading the line up front.
