John McGinn at Aston Villa
Omar Alderete plays as a defender wearing squad number 15 for Sunderland. Indeed, his movement and reading of the game proved perfect during matches. Moreover, he made a vital tackle just before half-time which stopped what looked to be a certain goal for the hosts. This defensive resilience helps anchor the backline alongside teammates.
Career Before Aston Villa
Before moving to Wearside, the defender performed well in La Liga. Sunderland managed to create a brilliant spine last year. Furthermore, the club will be hoping new additions can have a similar impact to that of Omar Alderete when he arrived last year.
Career History Overview
He has built a solid foundation at the club alongside Nordi Mukiele and Dan Ballard. Therefore, management wants to build further upon this defensive stability. Meanwhile, squad rotation remains key for upcoming fixtures across competitions.
