The match against Tottenham was very much what was expected.
We knew that Spurs would have a lot of the ball, we knew it was going to be attack against defence and we knew that the game plan was to get a 0-0 draw.
Despite almost executing that game plan, Sunderland couldn’t hold on for the draw and are left in 19th position after five games, with just one point.
