Match Preview: Sunderland vs Manchester City

Sunderland return to premier league action tonight against Manchester City at the Stadium of Light. With the transfer window now shut, the Black Cats now have to push on with the squad left at Sam Allardyce’s disposal. Debuts are expected to be given to Whabi Khazri and Lamine Kone, as Sunderland look to return to winning ways against tough opposition.

This will be a very tough game for Sunderland in the start of a torrid month ahead for the Black Cats. If Sam Allardyce can scrape a draw tonight then that will be huge bonus for Sunderland.
