Marseille captain Steve Mandanda is looking for a fresh start and a move to Sunderland could work out superbly for the 30-year-old.
Sunderland and Marseille are on good terms with Steven Fletcher currently on loan at the French side. Also, goalkeepers tend to excel at Sunderland, something which may appeal to the Frenchman.
Tonny Vilhena
The 20-year old is one of the hottest properties about, with several clubs after his services. The Dutchman’s contract run’s out this summer at Feyenoord and a move to the Premier League is on the cards, with the attacker having a big future ahead of him.
Stephane Sessegnon

The Benin playmaker left Sunderland for West Brom in 2013 for £6-million but has struggled for form in the Midlands. With his contract expiring in the summer, a return to Wearside on a free transfer could be a special piece of business for both player and club.
