Sam Allardyce is considering a move for West Brom midfielder, James Morrison on a free transfer, the Mirror.
Morrison, who is to become a free-agent as the end of contract looms, is also attracting interest from his former side Middlesbrough upon their return to England’s top flight.
Allardyce is keen to acquire the midfielder due to his experience in the Premier League, rather than looking abroad.
The Scottish international hasn’t featured for West Brom since January and is currently sitting on £70,000-a-week wages, which could hinder a move away from the Hawthorns.

Tony Pulis is thought to be keen on keeping hold of the midfielder for next season but could yet lose him for nothing during the summer.
The 29-year-old made 19 appearances for the Baggies in all competitions last season and scored three goals in the process before a serious hamstring injury ended his campaign prematurely.
Morrison has been at the club since joining from Middlesbrough back in 2007 and is keen to stay, but the chance to move back to the North East could appeal to him.
