Asamoah Gyan nearing a return to Sunderland?

According to an emerging report from Football Made in Ghana, Sunderland are closing in on a sensational move for forward Asamoah Gyan this week.

The Ghana international forward had an excellent tenure with Sunderland before leaving in 2011 for Al Ain in the UAE.

However, the 30-year-old striker is set for a return to the Stadium of Light after the club was hit with an injury crisis all across the pitch, leading to manager David Moyes eyeing plenty of reinforcements in the closing week of the window.

The exclusive report claims that Gyan will sign on a short-term deal upon his return to the Premier League and that he will undergo a medical in the coming days.

Gyan was always impressive for Sunderland and, since his big money move to the UAE, he has gone on to be a massive success and has been the key forward in his side.

The return of the experienced marksman will be massively welcomed as another attacking reinforcement joins Moyes’ revolution.
