If you were to ask David Moyes a penny for his thoughts at the minute, you’d certainly get a lot for your money.

Going into the international break, Sunderland are rooted to the bottom of the Premier League, an all too familiar position. Winless and with just one point on the board after 7 games, David Moyes’ tenure as Sunderland boss is already under threat.

19th placed Stoke City await Sunderland on the other side of this international break, and you could argue that it has come at a good time for Sunderland and David Moyes. It’ll give him time to reassess how he wants Sunderland to play in order to get points on the board and get us off the foot of the table.

Between now and then though, there must be a lot of thoughts being processed in the head of David Moyes. Here I will be looking at 5 things that must be on the Scots mind this week
